With summer, workshops and camps abound. Indiana MTA (IMTA) members staff a booth at the "PBS Kids in the Park," a public-sponsored community outreach day. They provide general information about IMTA, as well as learning and performance opportunities available to students in the Indianapolis area. This year's event is June 28, 2003.

The Wisconsin MTA has planned a busy summer. One event is the Piano Arts National Concerto Competition, in Milwaukee, June 21-23, 2003. Check out Wisconsin MTA at http://wmta.net. Michigan's Capitol Area Music Teachers, in conjunction with Michigan State University and Lansing Community College, will hold the annual Piano Teachers Workshop. Ann Arbor MTA will hold the annual camp for young students. Check out Michigan at www.mi-mtna.org. The University of Cincinnati, in Ohio, announces a new summer program.
