MTNA High School Woodwind Competition, sponsored by the MTNA FOUNDATION
Thomas Wible, of Port Vue, Pennsylvania, is in the tenth grade at South Allegheny High School. He studies flute with Wendy Webb Kumer. Thomas is in the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra, the City Music Center Chamber Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Opera Theatre and the Three Rivers Young People's Orchestra. He was the winner of the Mid-Atlantic Flute Fair Honors Recital Competition and has been in the National High School Flute Choir. He participates in his school's marching and concert bands.

MTNA Collegiate Artist Performance Competitions
MTNA Collegiate Artist Brass Competition, sponsored by the MTNA FOUNDATION
Ryoichi Tamaki is a student at Bowling Green State University (BGSU), where he studies tuba with Velvet Brown. Ryoichi has a bachelor of performance from Tokyo College of Music in Japan and a performer's certificate from BGSU. He was the principal tuba of the Pacific Music Festival in 2002 and the Kyoto International Music Students Festival Orchestra in 1999. He twice won first prize in the Harvey G. Phillips Memorial Tuba Solo Competition.

MTNA Collegiate Artist Guitar Competition, sponsored by Gibson Guitar Company
Marco Sartor is a student at the College of Charleston, where he studies with Ireland Regnier. He was the first-prize winner of the Schadt String Competition and the third-prize winner of the Guitar Foundation of America International Competition. He has performed with the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, the Piccolo Spoleto Festival and throughout Uruguay and Argentina. Marco is a faculty member at Charleston Academy of Music.

MTNA Collegiate Artist Organ Competition, sponsored by the MTNA FOUNDATION
Matthew Michael Brown, a native of Burlington, North Carolina, is a Kenan Organ Scholar at the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, where he is an organ student of John Mitchener. Matthew is the associate organist at Front Street United Methodist Church in Burlington. As a collaborative artist, Matthew has performed with various ensembles and singers, including the Bel Canto Company based in Greensboro, North Carolina, and winners of The Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
