Autac Inc. has launched its Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) cords for automotive applications. TPE cords are built to be resistant to water, oil, chemical and salt, offering a more reliable solution for preventing wire corrosion in vehicles, the company says. Available in 12-28 AWG, the cords can be designed to handle varying amounts of amperage. The cords are featured in 12 in., 24 in., 36 in. and 48 in., which are designed to extend to a 1:5 ratio.
