Automotive Industries, Nov, 2003
Navitar Inc. has released a 25 mm Multi-Magnification lens (part # 1-15838), the first lens in their new Platinum Series of Multi-Magnification lenses. This wide-angle lens is designed to cover up to a 42 ram image format ideal for line-scan and area-scan cameras. It was engineered for vision system applications to allow cameras to inspect large areas without the great distance required by a typical lens. Navitar's new 25 mm Platinum Lens works with F-mount and C-mount cameras and resolves 180 line pairs per millimeter, according to the company.
