Ultraviolet LED

BivarOpto, the Optoelectronics division of Bivar Inc., has announced the release of its TO-92 ultraviolet LED available in multi-chip and cluster arrays. According to Bivar the LEDs feature radiant flux of 12 MW per chip and a stable wavelength of 400 mm. The series is engineered for a wide range of applications including currency validation in vending/change machines, automotive instrumentation, medical equipment, high-pressure hydraulic leak detection and biometrics.
