SPX Contech wins Jeep Grand Cherokee contract

SPX Corp.'s Contech business has been awarded an $8 million annual contract to supply fully machined aluminum die-cast rack and pinion housing for the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Further details of the six-year agreement were not provided. Production is now scheduled to begin in 2004.
