Microchip Technology Inc., has announced a family of 8-bit Flash microcontrollers with new motor control peripherals designed to deliver higher efficiency, quieter operation and extended life in automotive, industrial, appliance and consumer applications. Microchip's 40-pin PIC18F4331/4431 and 28-pin PIC18F2331/2431 microcontrollers are manufactured to provide a solution for precise and energy-efficient operation in motor control applications.
