Morgan Electro Ceramics (MEC), a manufacturer of electro ceramic products, including high voltage and RF capacitors, and microwave and piezoelectric ceramics, offers new piezo bimorphs for valves used in the automotive industry. MEC's piezo bimorphs use a carbon fiber, in place of a metal inner layer, designed to provide greater deflection and increased force, while improving performance and reliability by 20 to 30 percent.
