For machine and automation applications requiring a non-contacting sensor, TT electronics OPTEK Technology has developed a compact infrared slotted switch. Designated the OPB200 Series, these slotted switches are packaged in an opaque grade of injection-molded polyester, which increases reliability by minimizing the assembly's sensitivity to ambient visible light and near-infrared radiation.
