Hyundai increases Indian capacity - International Trends - Hyundai Motor Co. plant expansion in India - Brief Article

Spurred by a jump in local demand, Hyundai Motor Co. Ltd. says it will invest $80 million to increase capacity at its plant in India. Capacity will rise from 120,000 vehicles a year to 150,000 vehicles a year by March 2003. Hyundai has said it expects its Indian sales to increase 10 percent to 12 percent during 2002.
