Volkswagen AG and its Chinese partners, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp. and China National Automotive Industry Corp., extend their joint venture for another 20 years. The JV, Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Corp., will now run until 2029. It was set to expire in 2009. VW sells the Passat, Santana and Polo in China.
