Spirol International Corp. has launched a new family of brass inserts designed for placement in the plastic mold prior to plastic injection. The new hexagonal molded-in insert family has a generous hexagonal head on each end and a large center undercut and should be used in applications where high torque and pullout/through resistance is required or where the molder would prefer to place the insert prior to molding.

Spirol Series 40 is a through hole molded-in insert and Spirol Series 44 a blind-end molded-in insert. Spirol International Corp. 860-774-8571. www.spirol.com.
