Gasketing Material

Loctite Corp. introduces Durafoam 5975, a heat-curable, cured-in-place silicone foam gasketing material. It is a thixotropic, two-component, self-foaming silicone liquid that is mixed prior to application. It expands when cured -- about 10 minutes at 800. Said to be excellent for reducing NVH, it offers exceptional high and low temperature performance and compression set resistance.
