Winner in the transportation category of the 2005 PTC Awards, submitted by the Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau in the Ukraine. The company says the DOZOR-B armored personnel carrier is a multi-purpose wheeled vehicle designed to transport goods and people and provide protection against small arms and weapons of mass destruction. "Pro/ENGINEER enabled us to optimize the design of separate elements and aggregates; to completely eliminate full-size mockups for crew comfort evaluation; to decrease costs of pre-production models by 40%; and to reduce the development stage by 30%".
