2002 Suzuki Aerio - Cars Worth Noting - Brief Article

What I like about the Aerio:

It has a high cute factor, like puppies and babies, and should be a great chick magnet at the local park.

It's got a certain cool factor. Teenagers check it out as they drive by, though I'm not sure if they think it's cool or they're just laughing.

The roomy interior has plenty of head room and leg room and shoulder room and arm room front seat and back.

It's got a good-sized, tall trunk for such a small car.

It fits easily into the small parking spaces left by idiots who park crooked or half-way over the line into the next space, and maneuvers easily through Taco Bell and Burger King drive-thrus.

It goes a long way on a tank of gas.

The front air dam is sweet. (Actually, my eighteen-year-old son said that, but he's the target buyer anyway.)

It's got four doors, so you don't have to get out to let your friends out of the back seat.

It comes in bright colors to accentuate your personality.

What I don't like about the Aerio:

It looks like a Toyota Echo.

The sunken-in digital dash, because it's sunk so far into the IP that it's hard to see, and it's digital.

Poor ventilation. The car is always hot and stuffy inside.

The small skinny tires squawk a lot when stopping and cornering.

The key fob quit working.
