In-line flow conditioners

Automotive Industries,  July, 2004

Sierra Instruments has introduced its new Flow=Trak in-line flow conditioners, designed to be a solution for the problems associated with monitoring air and gas flow in piping-constrained applications. The Flow=Trak has been engineered to eliminate velocity profile distortions, swirl and temperature stratification in the gas stream. According to Sierra, Flow=Trak is built to consume only three diameters of pipe and uses two stainless steel perforated plates to create a flat, uniform velocity profile Flow=Trak is constructed of 316 SS, and is available in sizes ranging from 1 to 14 in.
