UFP Technologies Inc. is offering customized polyethylene foam dunnage bars. According to UFP, this material can be used for automotive and other material handling applications. The design of the dunnage bar was engineered to provide desired parts density and structural integrity, and offer an alternative to urethane. The foam used has a density of nine pounds per cubic foot. According to the company, the delivery time for the fabricated foam dunnage bar is one week.
