DaimlerChrysler finally green lights its striking Mercedes-Benz SLR super sports car. The two-seater, which has 544 hp V-8, will be built at the new TAG McLaren Cars Ltd. facilities under construction in Woking, England. The debut is scheduled for 2003. No price yet, but its guaranteed to be steep.
