Sreinmetz Catera Is A Hoot

Automotive Industries,  August, 1999

Cadillac is so serious about changing its image it allowed reporters to drive the Steinmetz Catera concept during a long lead for the 2000 Catera and Seville in France. This car is obviously not meant for anyone who thinks they're part of the older generation. It's got a supercharger that delivers 212kW at 6,100 rpm and has maximum torque of 273 ft-lb at 5,200 rpm.

It has 84 more horsepower than Catera's standard 200-hp 3.0L dohc V-6. Steinmetz is an aftermarket outfitter based in Aachen, Germany. No one's sure if the car will see production.
