Johnson Controls ComfortLab introduces Comfort Cools technology. It uses two specially designed fans to create a vacuum inside the seat that is capable of drawing a small amount of compartment air through the occupant-to-seat surface.

The technology removes heat and moisture and comfortably cools the occupant's back and thighs, while keeping clothing dry and wrinkle free, says the company. It can be operated through a switch located on the side of the seat, vehicle door or instrument panel, which can be incorporated with current seat heat switches.
