ESI Group releases PAM-SAFE 2001. The software is used for simulation of the impact of safety restraints on vehicle passengers during a crash. New features include geometry-based airbag folding with fiber orientation visualization, mesh-free airbag deployment and an extended MBS library. Software parameters are based on FMVSS 208.
