Our Quiet Steel(R) is on board numerous vehicles for 2002 and 2003, in brake, powertrain and body applications. Quiet Steel(R) is our unique constrained layer material, comprising two or more metallic substrates constrained over a viscoelastic core material. The micro-deformation of this viscoelastic dissipates sound and vibration, ambient or structural, as the application requires. Our Thermalcore(R) material is likewise utilized for heat deflection or containment in many vehicle uses.

Additionally, MSC Engineered Materials and Solutions Group is an internationally recognized supplier of pre-painted and pre-finished metals, as well as electrogalvanized steel. We operate on a proprietary or toll-coating basis, as customers require.

MSC Engineered Materials and Solutions Group provides extensive support for our customers, including total project management and technical assistance. Specifically, we can offer modal analysis, dynamometer testing, invehicle test/evaluation protocols and a full range of environmental simulations.

These R&D services are further supported by a team of application engineers, sales support personnel and our in-house tool department, where we design, engineer and manufacture both production and prototype tooling. We work closely with our customer's engineering staff, to ensure superior performance in every area of product utilization and manufacturing.
