DSM's Stanyl, an engineering plastic, has been integrated into the intake manifold redesign on diesel-powered Ford Transit vans. Replacing an aluminum manifold on the previous Transit, Stanyl is claimed to provide extra reliability, durability and efficiency, states the company.
