Automotive Industries, Sept, 2004
A line of standard function (SF) unmanaged Ethernet switches is now available from Phoenix Contact. The SF switch line combines switched Ethernet connectivity for 8 of 16 (10/100 Mbps) ports, with a unique range of 1 or 2 multi-mode 100Mbps glass fiber port options. System startup time and ongoing maintenance costs are further reduced, according to the company, through a complete range of unmanaged switch functions such as redundant power supplies, alarm contact, auto negotiation and cable auto crossing.
