What magazines do you subscribe to?
I subscribe to many magazines, including Business Week, Forbes, Country Living, O, Real Simple, InStyle, House Beautiful, Redbook, Good Housekeeping, Met Home, Elle Decor, Homestyle, House and Garden, Architectural Digest, ESPN: The Magazine, and Golf Tips.
Why these titles?
One, to keep up with what our competition is doing, and two, to get a sense of what is happening outside the world of media.
What's your favorite section?
The instruction pages in Golf Tips. I am a terrible golfer who wants to get my handicap down. I find it helpful and entertaining to read about all the things I do wrong and how I can fix them. Unfortunately, I never seem to have the time to practice.

If you could only subscribe to one magazine, which one would it be?
It would actually be two. First, Successful Farming. I'm from Brooklyn, and we love to learn about things like growing soy beans and com. But I would also subscribe to Business Week I think it is well-written, covers a wide range of topics and it has served me well for many years.
What's your cultural must-read?
I am starting to read magazines like Lucky, In Style, Wallpaper, ESPN-- publications that my 28-year-old son and 22-year-old daughter like.
What's the first site you look at online each day?
Jets Confidential. I'm a huge NY Jets football fan and have a need to know what is going on throughout the year.
