Headhunter supplies the banners and monitors the traffic. The partner receives $5 for every 1,000 pages viewed by job seekers who reach Headhunter.net from the link on the publisher's site. Headhunter.net claims to attract six million job seekers per month. On average, typical users view 13 pages per session; active job seekers view 30 pages per session.

Through its HotReach Affiliate Program, recruiting solutions company Hotjobs.com provides its publisher partners, including several CMP Media titles, with free banners and/or text links that enable the publisher's site visitors to post a resume or job directly to HotJobs.com. The publisher receives a commission for every qualified job or eligible resume posted through its site. Employers, corporate recruiters, and any other members of the business community can easily post jobs using a simple online form; they remain listed for 30 days. Commissions are paid out monthly and depend on volume, with a minimum of $20 per lob posting and $1 for every eligible resume.

VirtualEdge Corporation, an application service provider, developed its E*FAIR product three years ago to move physical career fairs onto the Web. VirtualEdge provides the technology, sets up the event, and handles all project management. Publisher partners, such as Nurse Week, sell the events to their client companies, promote them to their readers, and share the revenue with VirtualEdge on a negotiated basis. Participating companies receive a searchable database with applicant-tracking capabilities.
