New York Fraternal Order of Police-WTC fund, National Organization for Victim's Assistance, September 11 Fund and the Twin Towers Fund. Employee matching donation program to the same six organizations, up to $1,000 per employee.

CONDE NAST PUBLICATIONS Matching employee donation program to same six funds. (See AOL Time Warner above.) No limit on employee donations; employees decide where they want their dollars to go, and then the company matches their contributions.

CYGNUS BUSINESS MEDIA $3,200 raised in employee donations. Will probably go to AmenCares; $1,400 in food/supplies/clothing to Melville, New York firehouse; $1,000 in employee donations to mother of Cygnus employee who lost her father.

GRUNER JAHR USA PUBLISHING G J majority owner Bertelsmann will donate $1 million to the New York Police Department and $1 million to the Fire Department of New York. There is also a matching donation fund, with no limit for donations.

HEARST MAGAZINES Matching individual employee gifts to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and the New York City Public/Private Initiatives. Limit for employee donations is undisclosed. Hearst will also hold a New York-based blood drive on Tuesday, October 2, and Thursday, October 4.

IDG Matching employee gift fund to United Way and the September 11 fund.

PRIMEDIA Matching fund up to $50,000. All will go to the Red Cross of Greater New York.
