Golf Magazine names New Publisher

Vice president and advertising director of Golf Magazine Properties since 1997, Ernest J. Renzulli is charged with strengthening the group's position in his new capacity as both vice president of the group and publisher of Golf Magazine.

Renzulli spent four years with Playboy Enterprises as advertising director before joining Times Mirror, following service with Golf Illustrated for seven years in two consecutive stints. From 1986 through 1991 he was vice president, publisher and ad sales director for the title under Family Media, then continued through 1993 as vice president, publisher, when he relaunched the title for its new owners, VP International.

Renzulli holds a B.S. in marketing and an M.B.A. from Farleigh Dickinson University. He has spoken at the annual meetings of the National Home Study Council and the Outdoor Advertising Association of America Inc.

Corporate Frederic M. Poust to president, Miller Sports Group, from vice president and general manager. Deborah Kenny to group president, magazine publishing, Children's Television Workshop, from group publisher.

Editorial & Art George Blooston to general editor, Bloomberg Personal Finance, from senior editor, Entertainment Weekly. Peter Yates to director of design, ESPN The Magazine, from art director.

Management Richard Kinsler to publisher, Popular Science, from executive vice president of the publishing group, Playboy Enterprises, and publisher, Playboy.

Marketing & Promotion Rob Gursha to general manager, Sunset Publishing Corp., from vice president and consumer marketing director, a title he retains.

Donia T. Vance to creative services director, FHM, from marketing services director, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Glenn Laudenslager to group promotion manager, Promo, PromoXchange and American Demographics, from promotion manager, Promo and PromoXchange.
