AMERICAN BUSINESS PRESS presents the 46th Annual Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards

Folio: The Magazine for Magazine Management, May, 2000

Named for Jesse H. Neal - ABP's first managing director -- the Neal Awards are held annually to recognize editorial achievement in audited, independent business publications. The purpose of this competition is to further the high standards of editorial achievement championed by Jesse H. Neal.

"A wise man has said that one of the greatest joys...is the joy of achievement...I believe that the deepest satisfaction in its realization must reward the business paper editor, for his success can and does affect the entire trade or industry."

Founded in 1906, American Business Press is the industry association for global information providers that produce magazines, newsletters, CD-ROMs, Web sites trade shows and other media, reaching an audience of more than 37 million professionals, and generating over $8 billion in advertising revenues in 1999.

This year there were 1,116 entries, with twenty-three awards handed out.
