More than half of weeklies delivered late

Fifty-one percent of weekly publications were delivered late during second quarter 1987. Of those, 23 percent were delivered more than one day late. Philadelphia and New Orleans tied for worst delivery: Each had 37 percent of weeklies delivered two or more days late. Meanwhile, Detroit and San Francisco boasted 70 percent on-time delivery.
