> A few days after Macmillan's McQuillen went to K-III, Macmillan lost another top-level executive: senior vp of development Martin Maleska, who joined magazine brokers Veronis, Suhler & Associates as managing director. Maleska says the timing of the move was coincidental. His experience in acquisitions and divestitures at Macmillan and Maxwell Communications should serve him well at VS&A, where he'll be involved in publishing mergers and acquisitions.Most RecentMedia Articles
