Folio: The Magazine for Magazine Management, July 1, 1993
Cowles Business Media, publisher of Folio:, obtained the title and certain assets of MagazineWeek in early June. The nature of the assets and terms of the transaction were not disclosed. MagazineWeek suspended publication after its June 7 issue. "We are exploring other formats in which MagazineWeek might continue, including as a newsletter, but no decision has been made," says CBM president Hershel B.
