Meredith pushes ahead with Do It Yourself

Meredith Corp., which this month plants Home Garden in the marketplace, is expected to turn its attention next to launching the quarterly special-interest Do It Yourself as a subscription-based magazine, possibly in July. Meredith is about to begin conducting direct-mail tests for the title, which currently has a distribution of 450,000.
