Business Russia

Folio: The Magazine for Magazine Management, March 15, 1996

Business Russia targets Americans doing business in Russia and the independent states, as well as those interested in setting up shop there. Editor Jenny Beeh says the title will provide critical information about legislation, politics, taxes and legal issues in Russia and the republics as more and more corporations move overseas.

In an unusual staff setup, Beeh shares her position as top editor with two others who profile successful large and small business ventures for the American entrepreneur. The premier issue launched in September and will be published as a bimonthly with a targeted paid circulation of 10,000.

Business Russia is published by Russian American Publications, Inc., a company that also has a division in Moscow and puts out Russian-language publications. A one-year subscription is $29.95. The title carries a $5 cover price, and a one-time, full-page, black-and-white ad costs $2,500. James Franklin is the publisher. Address: 1415 N. Dayton St., Chicago, IL 60622. Phone: 312-266-1716.
