InfoWeek eyes the newsstand - Information Week

Folio: The Magazine for Magazine Management, April 1, 1994

Manhasset, New York-based CMP Publications is redesigning InformationWeek and taking it to the newsstand beginning May 2. A controlled-circulation trade title covering information technology, InformationWeek has until now been distributed to 200,000 professional technology users and buyers. That will continue, but "there are an increasing number of business managers who also need to know about information technology," says CMP spokeswoman Barbara Kerbel.

The magazine, priced at $2.95, will have an initial newsstand distribution of 60,000. As for the redesign, it's being handled by the ubiquitous Roger Black.
