Building Renovation

Folio: The Magazine for Magazine Management, Sept 1, 1992

Penton Publishing launches Building Renovation, offspring of Progressive Architecture, this month. The magazine is bimonthly and targeted to contractors, building owners and developers and architectural firms. The editorial takes a "how-to/case-study" approach that details the renovation process of nonresidential buildings.

Publisher Bob Osborn says that "there is a need for the publication because over 60 percent, or 2.78 million, of existing buildings in the United States are more than 20 years old and are |ripe' for retrofit, remodeling and renovation." Circulation is 45,000 controlled. The ad rate for a black-and-white page is $5,500. The editor is Tom Fisher. Address: 600 Summer St., Stamford, CT 06904. Telephone: 203-348-7531.
