Jorgensen rejoins MPA in newly created post
Judy Jorgensen has rejoined Magazine Publishers of America in the newly created post of executive director of communications. She assumes expanded responsibilities for MPA's internal and external communications efforts, including steering the design, content and production of MPA's publications. Jorgensen continues to provide public relations support for the MPA's marketing programs.
Before rejoining, MPA, Jorgensen served as Revlon, Inc.'s director of corporate communications. From 1989 to 1992, she was MPA's director of communications. Prior to that, she was publicity manager at Conde Nast Publications, Inc., for seven of its titles.

Jorgensen joined the magazine industry as a public relations coordinator for Esquire Magazine Group, Inc. She moved to Hearst Magazines as manager of public relations for Esquire, and then as group manager of public relations for the company's 14 titles.
Jorgensen holds a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
