Scitex America, of Bedford, Massachusetts, plans to introduce two scanners with complementary peripherals: The Smart 340L scans reflective art and transparencies (color and black-and-white) directly into the Macintosh; the Smart 730 PS, also Mac-based, scans and edits multiple images simultaneously.

ResoLUT PS, a NuBus card, "allows you to convert YCC and RGB file formats into CMYK, and perform color correction and transformation on the Mac," says a Scitex spokesman.
