US Franchise Systems signed an agreement to install a customized version of Ramesys' ImagInn Platinum Property Management System at all 266 U.S. Microtel Inn & Suites, including this one in Atlanta. The agreement, which is part of Microtel's Project Reveille, was announced at the USFS trade show in February.
Key elements of the project include free-to-guest local and long distance calls and wireless high-speed Internet access in addition to the PMS installations. Microtel is standardizing its PMS on the Ramesys product, which includes a two-way interface with the USFS corporate central-reservation system. The interface will support Internet-based check-in via the Microtel Web site and e-folio capability that allows customers to receive their bills online. The rollout of the project will be finalized by Dec. 31.
