Acquisitions

AP Partners sold a 158-room, two-property package (Apple Farm Inn and Motel Inn) in California to Apple Farm Collection LLC for $33.6 million.

Belgium LLC sold the AmericInn in Belgium, Wis., to 7-Saints Corp.

Boykin Lodging increased ownership in the 421-room Executive Plaza Hotel in Chicago by acquiring an additional 25 percent interest from a private investor for $6.3 million. The company now owns 43.75 percent of the hotel.

Consolidated Management purchased the 172-room Bilmar Beach Resort on Treasure Island, Fla., for $12 million.

Grand Rapids Superior Hospitality bought the 121-suite Lexington Hotel Suites in Grand Rapids, Mich., from Property Corporation of America for $4.7 million.

Kamla Corp. bought the 61-room Super 8 Motel in Culpeper, Va. from Culpeper Super 8 Motel LP for $1.1 million.

Sandlewood Hotels sold the 75-room Red Roof Inn & Suites in Savannah, Ga., to HG Savannah Hotels for $3.2 million.

Schaedle Worthington Hyde Properties purchased the 280-room Hawthorn Suites Atlanta Northwest from RFS Hotel Investors for $20.75 million.

SHC Westward Look LLC sold the 244-room Westward Look Resort in Tucson, Ariz., to Boutique Hotel Co.

Shree Hariprased purchased the 101-room Best Western Governor's House Hotel & Suites in Columbia, S.C., from GTW Hotel LLC for $2.9 million.

Financing

The Westmont Hospitality Group sold the 281-room Radisson Hotel Agoura Hills (Calif.) to the Davidson Hotel Co.

Aries Capital provided $3 million to Aci Chicago Hotel LLC for a Best Western hotel in Chicago and a Holiday Inn in Evanston, Ill.

The Heller Company secured a $3-million mezzanine loan for the 179-room Hampton Inn Downtown/Airport in San Diego and was approved for $2.5 million of mezzanine financing for the 128-room Hampton Inn Del Mar (San Diego) by Stonehenge Real Estate Investors.

Bank One and Westdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale (WestLB) will finance $104 million to JMI Realty for the building of the 512-room Westin Hotel across from the San Diego Convention Center.

Management

The Union Square Hotel Co. will invest $2 million in retrofitting a vacant, 90-room hotel in San Francisco's Tenderloin District.

Aston Hotel and Resorts manages the Paki Maui (Hawaii).

Benchmark Hospitality manages the 350-room Del Lago Resort (Houston) and the Sun Santa Clara Conference Center (Calif.).

Crestline Hotels & Resorts manages the Franklin Marriott and Cool Springs Conference Center (Franklin, Tenn.) and Hyatt Regency Wichita (Kan.). It also manages the Sheraton West Palm Beach (Fla.) Hotel and the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel & Hartman Conference Center (Independence, Mo.).

Horizon Hotels Ltd. manages the 90-room Ramada Inn in Freeport, Ill., and the 80-room Econo Lodge in Beloit, Wis.

Openings

Hostmark Hospitality Group will manage the 280-room Hilton Santa Clara (Calif.).

Trigild manages the 182-room Ramada Plaza Hotel in San Diego.

Ann Arbor Farms Hotel Corp. opened an 83-room Microtel Inns & Suites in AnnArbor, Mich.

Kisher Akotia opened a 45-room GuestHouse International Inn (Fullerton, Calif.)

Bay Winds Lodging LLC opened an 82-suite Hawthorn Suites in Naples, Fla. Bethel Hospitality Associates opened a 78-room Microtel Inns & Suites in Bethel, Conn.

Brock Mart opened a 75-suite Hawthorn Suites LTD in Bloomington, Ill.

Burr Ridge Suites LLC opened a 128-unit AmeriSuites in Burr Ridge, Ill.

Cannes Enterprises opened a 61-room Microtel Inns & Suites in Seaside, Ore.

Carpinteria Hotel Investors opened a 76-unit Comfort Suites in Carpinteria, Calif.

Central Group Development Co. opened a 64-room AmericInn (Sidney, Neb.).

Columbia-Sussex opened the 296-room, four-suite San Antonio Marriott Northwest Hotel.

Crossroads of America opened a 54-room AmericInn Motel & Suites in Grimes, Iowa.

CSM Lodging LLC opened a 156-room Courtyard by Marriott in Denver.

Dominion Hospitality Group opened a 79-room Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Indianapolis.

Duke Properties opened a 65-room AmericInn in Baldwin, Wis.

Dure Investments opened an 89-unit Sleep Inn & Suites in Oregon, Ohio.

Extended Stay America opened an 86-room StudioPLUS Deluxe Studios in Novi, Mich., a 128-room Extended StayAmerica Efficiency Studios in San Ramon, Calif., and a 101-room Extended StayAmerica Efficiency Studios in Austin, Texas.

The Generation Companies opened a 122-suite Candlewood Suites in Fairfax, Va. and a 133-suite Candlewood Suites in Herndon, Va.

Guest Services Co. opened a 101-room Doubletree Guest Suites in Naples, Fla.

J.E.A. Enterprises opened a 49-room Comfort Inn in Pueblo West, Colo.

JEM Corp. opened a 63-room AmericInn in Monona, Wis.

Kelco Management & Development opened the 166-suite Ocean Point Resort & Club in Sunny Isles, Fla. The Lefrak Organization opened a 187-room Courtyard by Marriott in Jersey City, N.J.

Leisure Hotels opened a 90-suite Hawthorn Suites LTD in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Mandarin Oriental International and Swire Properties opened the 329-room Mandarin Oriental, Miami.

McAllen Hospitality Investors opened a 104-room Hilton Garden Inn in McAllen, Texas. Misha opened a 69-unit Comfort Suites in Waldorf, Md.
