* Sunterra Corp. completed its acquisition of the assets of Epic Resorts, which include management rights to four vacation-ownership resorts: the Island Links Resort in Hilton Head, S.C.; The Daytona Beach (Fla.) Regency Resort; the Scottsdale (Ariz.) Links Resort; and the Desert Paradise Resort in Las Vegas. Sunterra also acquired land at the Hilton Head location, and unsold inventory at the four resorts and the Palm Springs (Calif.) Marquis Villa Resort, and management rights to the Epic Vacation Club.
