The Home Depot will acquire Economy Maintenance Supply Co., a wholesale supplier of maintenance, repair and operations products headquartered in Sterling, Va. It will become part of The Home Depot's Maintenance Warehouse subsidiary and managed as part of The Home Depot supply division. The integration will expand EMS's offerings beyond the traditional MRO products to housekeeping supplies, front-desk and office supplies, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and conference and meeting-room supplies.
