* Affinia Hospitality and Thistle Hotels formed a sales-and-marketing alliance to expand awareness and build business in the United States and United Kingdom. The alliance focuses on cross-promoting Thistle's 56 hotels in England, Scotland and Wales and Affinia's nine hotels in New York to guests and travel agents through joint sales calls and e-marketing initiatives.
