AKSR Corp. opened the 50-room Super 8 Motel in Groves, Texas. Allied Hospitality Group opened the 122-room Holiday Inn Chicago O'Hare/Kennedy. AmericInn International opened the 46-room AmericInn Motel & Suites in Norway, Mich. Rick Sanderson and Dave Kasten own and manage the property.

Hasu Bhakta opened the 101-room Wingate Inn in Biloxi, Miss.

Carlson Hospitality Worldwide opened the 100-room Country Inn & Suites by Carlson in Addison, Texas.

Chisholm Properties South Beach opened the 185-room Surfcomber-Hampton Inn in Miami Beach, Fla.

Forbes Hamilton Management Co. opened the first phase of the 280-room, Key West- themed Crowne Plaza Resort Orlando. The first phase features 140 rooms.

Garden Hospitality III opened the 125-room Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta North/Johns Creek in Duluth, Ga.

Southgate, Mich.-based Heritage Development Group and Troy, Mich.-based Hotel Investment Services opened the 157-room Hilton Garden Inn Plymouth (Mich.).

Larkspur Hospitality Co. LLC opened two Hilton Garden Inn properties-a 160-room hotel in Milpitas, Calif., and a 132-room property in Roseville, Calif.

Leesburg InnKeepers LLC opened the 81-room Microtel Inn & Suites in Leesburg, Fla.

Milwaukee-based The Marcus Corp. opened the 127-suite Woodfield Suites in Bannockburn, Ill.

Morgan Hill Lodging LLC opened the 55-room Microtel Inn & Suites in Morgan Hill, Calif.

North Pointe Lodging LLC opened the 85-unit Wingate Inn in Albany, Ga.

R.D. Inc. opened the 56-room Microtel Inn & Suites in Oklahoma City.

New York-based RFR Davis opened the 58-unit Envoy Club extended-stay property in New York's Murray Hill neighborhood.

Hilliard, Ohio-based Red Roof Inns opened the 149-room Red Roof Inn in downtown Columbus, Ohio. The property is a conversion of an 87-year-old warehouse building in the city's arena district.

Sonmar Management Corp. opened the 63-room Holiday Inn Express in Medford, Ore.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide of White Plains, N.Y. opened its second W Hotel, the 274-room W Atlanta @ Perimeter Center.

Silver Spring, Md.-based Sunburst Hospitality Corp. opened the 94-unit MainStay Suites in Tempe, Ariz.

VIR Corp. opened the 44-room Super 8 Motel in Cleveland, Texas.

Westin Hotel & Resorts assumed management of the Salishan Lodge in Gleneden Beach, Ore. The property, owned by Lend Lease, is now The Westin Salishan Lodge and Golf Resort. Dan Hall is developing a 65-room AmericInn in Mounds View, Minn.

St. Louis-based Adam's Mark Hotels & Resorts opened a regional sales office in Washington, D.C.

Richmond, Va.-based Just Partners will provide marketing and advertising services to The Colonial Williamsburg (Va.) Hotel Properties, a five-property organization that comprises more than 1,000 rooms.

Green Granite Developers LLC purchased the Green Granite Inn and Conference Center in North Conway, N.H., from Green Granite LP for $5.75 million. New England Hotel Realty Advisors brokered the deal.

Hilton Hotels Corp. purchased the 495-room Radisson Plaza Hotel at Mark Center from Radisson Mark Plaza Joint Venture for an undisclosed amount. The Plasencia Group represented the seller.

KGS Hyannis Hotel LLC purchased the 104-room Quality Inn in Hyannis, Mass., from GMAC Commercial Mortgage for $2.55 million. The hotel will undergo a $1.3 million renovation, and will be managed by Linchris Hotel Corp. National Hotel Realty brokered the sale.

Sanjiv Kakkar purchased the 62-room Abigail in San Francisco from an undisclosed seller for $3.5 million. Joie de Vivre Hospitality will manage the property. Insignia/ESG Hotel Partners handled the sale.

Shell Vacations LLC acquired the Donatello Hotel in San Francisco from an undisclosed seller for an undisclosed amount.

Steinhart Hotel LLC purchased the 58-room Steinhart Hotel in San Francisco from an undisclosed seller for $6.5 million. Personality Hotels on Union Square will manage the property.

John and Mike Patel purchased a 42-unit apartment complex in Barstow, Calif., from Cal Fed and will turn a portion of it into an extended-stay hotel called Casa del Sol. Grubb & Ellis Co. represented the buyers.

Regis Hotel Corp. and Transcontinental Realty Investors, both of Dallas, acquired three hotels in Chicago from The Wilmont Hotel LP for a package purchase price of $11.75 million. The hotels include the 45-room City Suites Hotel, the 53-room Park Brompton Inn and the 55-room Surf Hotel. Mid-South Hotel Brokers handled the sale.

Samorock LLC purchased The Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine, from Samoset Resort Investors for an undisclosed sum. Insignia/ESG Hotel Partners handled the deal.
