* The upper-upscale, upscale and midscale-without-food-and-beverage segments are experiencing the most robust performance improvements, according to PricewaterhouseCoopers. PWC predicts upper-upscale demand to increase 5.4 percent during 2004, upscale demand to increase 7.9 percent and midscale without F&B demand to increase 7.5 percent.
