Hilton Hotels Corporation : From Hilton® to Hampton®, we have the brands you're looking for
Hotel & Motel Management, May 20, 2002
For over 80 years, Hilton Hotels Corporation has offered travelers the finest accommodations, service and value anywhere. Hilton is one of the only hotel companies with a breadth of leading franchise brands, spanning from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels, including Hilton[R], Doubletree[R], Embassy Suites Hotels[R], Hilton Garden Inn[R], Hampton Inn[R], Hampton Inn & Suites[R] and Homewood Suites[R] by Hilton. And of course, each brand is backed by the power of Hilton's resources, such as the Hilton HHonors[R] guest reward program, worldwide sales & marketing programs, Hilton Direct[R] meeting referral service and cross-selling through Hilton Reservations Worldwide, to name a few.
Hilton
The Hilton name has become synonymous with first-class hospitality around the globe. The presence and power of the Hilton brand is unmatched by any hotel company. To facilitate the growth of the Hilton brand in today's economic environment, we have introduced a smaller, full-service prototype, designed to deliver upscale services in smaller, growing urban and resort areas, and using a compact design footprint allowing for lowered construction costs and shorter building times. Hilton also is continuing its development of traditional, larger-scale, full-service hotels. Hilton makes it happen-for guests and owners.
Doubletree
Doubletree properties have their own unique, contemporary design reflecting the local or regional environment. Service is as warm and friendly as the chocolate chip cookies guests are offered at check-in. The Doubletree Club Hotel[R] concept is specifically designed for the increasingly varying needs and work habits of individual business travelers. And with our comprehensive conversion program you get a breakthrough new hotel concept at a cost that won't break you. If you own a hotel with 100 to 250 rooms-particularly in an airport, suburban or secondary market-you may have an ideal candidate for a Doubletree Club Hotel conversion.
Embassy Suites Hotels
This brand continues to dominate the upscale all-suite market in terms of distribution, consumer awareness and return intent, and received the "Highest In Guest Satisfaction Among Upscale Hotel Chains" award in the J.D. Power and Associates 2001 Domestic Hotel Guest Satisfaction Study.SM[*] Our "Tier Two" 150-room prototype represents an excellent development opportunity. We've trimmed the fat and made it even more efficient to build, which means it's even easier to own a piece of the No. 1 brand that defined and continues to set the standards in the upscale, all-suite category.
Hampton Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites
According to the J.D. Power and Associates 2001 Domestic Hotel Guest Satisfaction StudySM, Hampton Inn was recognized as the "Highest In Guest Satisfaction Among Mid-Priced Hotel Chains With Limited Service."* All the more reason to develop our new Hampton Inn Hometown Prototype, designed from the ground up to compete in smaller markets with populations of 50,000 or less and with hotels having 58 rooms or less. The prototype incorporates most of the benefits of a full-size Hampton Inn and can be built on as little as 1.29 acres. No wonder Hampton has more than 1,000 hotels throughout North America. It's a perfect opportunity for today's market, today's traveler and your budget.
Hilton Garden Inn
Extensive research has shown that today's business travelers and weekend vacationers want essential comforts and conveniences at a lower price. That's what makes Hilton Garden Inn one of the smartest hotel concepts today. Hilton Garden Inn virtually redefined the upscale mid-priced market and has become the fastest growing brand in the Hilton Family of Hotels. And now with over 300 properties open or in development, Hilton Garden Inn received the "Best Mid-Priced with Food & Beverage Hotel Chain" award from Business Travel News.[dagger] Find out about our efficient new prototype and powerful financing programs that can help you build or convert to a Hilton Garden Inn franchise today.
Homewood Suites by Hilton
We have the perfect solution to the enormous under-supply of hotels in the extended-stay category. Homewood Suites by Hilton-the brand that was the preferred franchise leader in overall quality when compared to other extended-stay brands within its competitive set,[double dagger] and the brand recognized as the "Highest In Guest Satisfaction Among Extended Stay Hotel Chains" by the J.D. Power and Associates 2001 Domestic Hotel Guest Satisfaction Study.SM[*] Take advantage of our new and improved prototype, featuring cost-efficient studio suites, our powerful financing programs, and our potent package of incentives adding up to tens of thousands of dollars in savings to help build or convert to a Homewood Suites by Hilton property.
[*] J.D. Power and Associates 2001 Domestic Hotel Guest Satisfaction Study.SM Study based on 13,335 individual evaluations. Thirteen upscale hotel chains, eleven mid-priced hotel chains with limited service and eight extended-stay hotel chains were ranked in the study. www.jdpower.com.
