>Retailer News - Camelot Music, Canton, Ohio, the nation's third largest mall-based music and video retailer, has signed a deal to acquire Miami-based Spec's Music for $28 million. The merger should be completed by the end of July. Spec's, founded in 1948 with a single store in South Miami, currently operates 38 stores in Florida and four in Puerto Rico and is the largest specialty music retailer in Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Tampa and Florida's eastern Gold Coast.Most RecentRetail Articles
