Report names top 10 e-tail sites

RESTON, VA. -- Amazon.com, eBay.com and download.com were the top three on-line shopping sites among U.S. consumers in June, a PC Data report found.

Amazon regained its No. 1 position with a 14.7% market reach. In May, it had dropped behind eBay, but in June eBay dropped back to No. 2, reaching 13.6% of the market. Following in third, download.com captured 10.2% of the market.

Others in the top 10 list included bluemountainarts.com with 9.7%; cnet.com and cdnow.com, each with 7.5%; classifieds2000.com, 5.5%; freeshop.com and barnesandnoble.com each with 5.3%; and lastly, mp3.com, with 4.5% of the total market reach.
