ROCKWALL, TEXAS -- Petco went the extra mile to entice and enter-tain shoppers when on Nov. 6 and 7 it grand-opened a new unit at 2689 Market Center Drive, a 15,000-sq.-ft. unit with a small animal and reptile area, fresh and saltwater fish aquariums, a bird room and a grooming salon. Shoppers with pets were able to chat with their cats or carry on conversations with their dogs with the help of professional animal communicator and pet psychic, Anna Williams.

Shopper were also given a free bag of pet food and free pet nail trims plus enjoyed a petting zoo, a face-painting clown, a Moon Walk and a Frisbee Dog demonstration. Several rescue organizations were there to offer pet adoptions. The same weekend, Petco also celebrated the grand opening of the relocated Temecula, Calif., unit, 40474 Winchester Road. This new store replaces the store previously located at 27576 Ynez Road.
