MADISON, WIS. -- Pacific Cycle, a manufacturer of off-road bicycles for the mass market, launched an information-only Web site prior to the 1999 holiday season. More than 70 Pacific Cycle models are featured on the site, www.pacific-cycle.com, and each is grouped by age and size and includes the name of one of four mass retailers that carries the specific model.
